Marilyn is Steve Viglione's wife. In addition to bringing lots of love, peace and joy to Steve's life, Marilyn is a dynamic presence at The I AM Foundation. She brings her business savvy and grace to The I AM Team. Marilyn plays a very key and important role as supporter to The I AM Foundation's founder.
Dr. Marilyn Powers is a visionary leader, author and speaker. Her two books are called The Bridge: A Midlife Map for Shaping Your Future and Words of Power for Loving Your Age, Work, and Life. Marilyn is a catalyst for change. She ignites the fire in others with a level of clarity, speed and compassion that is uniquely hers. Perhaps her clients say it best: "Only connect with Marilyn if you are ready to change, because as soon as you work with her you will start to move forward in your life!"
Marilyn is an ambassador of hope, igniting faith in ourselves, in each other and in the future. She is passionate about helping people, especially during these challenging times, to tap into the power of love. Real love. Love that feels good to the core. Love that inspires positive action.
Marilyn's credentials are stellar. She has in depth knowledge in many areas, and a rich professional background.
- Marilyn holds a Ph.D. in psychology and an MA in religion.
- She studied psychology at the C. G. Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, and at the Gestalt Institute in Cleveland, Ohio.
- Marilyn has performed extensive research with cancer patients on the therapeutic use of dreams.
- She studied dance at Julliard and is a graduate of the High School of Performing Arts.
Marilyn is a humanitarian and philanthropist. Since 2004, she has traveled worldwide doing Book Gifting Missions with The I AM Foundation and inspiring and empowering children to discover their value and bring their value to the world. She knows that our children are our hope for peace in the future and that just as the children are depending on us, we are depending on them for a world that serves us all.

Leslie was working as program coordinator for an orphanage and school for AIDS orphans in Nairobi, Kenya when she was asked to coordinate logistics for the distribution of The I AM! Affirmation Book: Discovering the Value of Who You Are to schools in Kenya. This experience has led her to The I AM Foundation, where she will be utilizing her experience in logistics, coordination, and leadership facilitating large-scale book gifting programs in Kenya and other countries around the world.
Prior to her current position, Leslie served as a law enforcement executive in the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department and the U.C.Davis Police Department. She has extensive experience in the education field, having served as Dean of Public Safety at American River College and is still an adjunct faculty member there. She is a Master Instructor certified by the California Peace Officer Standards and Training, and is an expert in curriculum development and training design and presentation. She has a Master of Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy for Law Enforcement Leaders. Her consulting firm, Strategic Communication Consulting, specializes in training development and design, workplace and family violence prevention, threat assessment, and school violence prevention initiatives. She has migrated from the local public safety arena to the global humanitarian field, bringing with her a vision of a world free from injustice and poverty through the empowerment of all children.

Terri Wright
Graphic Designer, Webmaster, Newsletter Editing and Design
Terri has an Degree in Visual Communications, with a Major in Multimedia Design, from Collins College, School of Design and Technology in Tempe, Arizona. She also is a 1982 graduate of Arizona Technical Institute, with a Computer Programming Specialist Degree. She has over twenty years experience working with computers. Her most recent passion is expressing herself through Graphic Arts and Web Design. Terri also has a passion for helping others and making a difference in the world.
Terri currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona and is a proud mother of three grown children and grandmother.

Mary Daniel
Bookkeeping
Mary has a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and has been in the accounting field for 17 years. Mary currently keeps the books for The I AM Foundation and is the Community Book Recipient Coordinator.
Mary has been married to her high school sweetheart for 15 years. Mary is honored to be working with The I AM Foundation and is honored to be part of an organization that has touched so many children's lives. Mary has two children of her own, ages 7 and 5, that absolutely love to read.
