About The Illustrator…Mauricio Hoffman, illustrator for The I AM Foundation’s I Am The Earth: Positive Affirmations for Loving Our Planet was born and raised in Mexico City. He has a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design from Anahuac University in Mexico City with a specialization in Illustration as well as a Diploma in Animation and Cinematography from Vancouver Film School. He has also done illustration work responsible for creating the corporate images and characters for the 2 major restaurant chains in Mexico City (Vips and El Porton).
Mauricio has worked on CD covers for Sony Music Mexico, and has done special event logos and images for Sun Microsystems and Bayer, and has also illustrated comics for Coppertone and has done multiple editorial cartoons for Periodico Reforma and other respected publications animation work. Furthermore, he has worked on the award winning Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee cinematic cut scenes, where he was in charge of the main characters (Munch and Abe), and defined the motion for a lot of the characters featured in Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. He was also motion caption supervisor and animator at Highmoon Studios for the Darkwatch project. Mauricio is currently a Senior animator at Blizzard Entertainment, and has worked on hundreds of creatures that inhabit the world acclaimed game, World of Warcraft.
