Marti Hare
Martin Hare is a Wealth Manager with the Merrill Lynch La Jolla, CA office. Martin has joined The I AM Foundation’s advisory board and we welcome his expertise in finance as well as in Charitable Lead Trusts. A charitable lead trust (CLT) can provide a payment stream to the charity for a specified period. At the end of the trust term, the CLT transfers the remaining assets to individuals named by the grantor-or any remaining assets return to the grantor. Mark Soto
Mark Soto was born in Pomona, California. Went K thru 12th in Pomona Unified School District where he excelled in sports. He attended the University of California at Los Angeles. Mark entered into the financial services arena in 1984. From 1984 to 2005, he worked with some of the most successful leaders/companies that revolutionized the financial services industry. Mark resides in Cardiff by the Sea California, and worked as a consultant for some of the Dow Jones 30 & Fortune 500 companies and their sales forces. Mark has raised thousands of dollars for The I AM Foundation’s programs over the past several years.
Ingrid Mittermaier
Ingrid Mittermaier is a principal in the San Francisco law firm of Adler & Colvin, a firm that specializes in the representation of nonprofit organizations and their donors, with an emphasis on tax and corporate matters. Prior to joining Adler & Colvin, Ms. Mittermaier practiced with several other law firms in the areas of transactional law, state and local tax law, and nonprofit law.
Ms. Mittermaier received her B.A., with distinction, in 1991 from Stanford University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D. from the School of Law (Boalt Hall) of the University of California at Berkeley in 1994, where she was executive editor of the Berkeley Women's Law Journal. Ms. Mittermaier is fluent in German.
Jeff Perlis
Jeff Perlis is the owner / broker and founder of Prime Properties in Lake Arrowhead. Heading up a successful real estate company allows Jeff to put his extensive sales & training background to work on a daily basis. Prior to moving to Lake Arrowhead, he co-founded F.A.C.T.S. Management Company, a San Diego-based training and consulting firm. He also served as a managing sales director and recruiter of consultants for Personal Resource Systems. In addition, Jeff spent five years selling technical equipment & services for The 3M Company.
Shamus Sayed, V.P. of Sales & Marketing at Interpreters Unlimited, brings 40 years of language services experience through Interpreters Unlimited to The I AM Foundation. Prime contractor to Fortune 500 companies, city and state municipalities, including the County of San Diego, Interpreters Unlimited provides language solutions in 130+ languages through over 7,000 independently contracted interpreters and translators. Established in 1970, Interpreters Unlimited has grown to be one of the largest language services providers in California, though offering services nationwide. Prior to Interpreters Unlimited, Shamus was in the biotech industry for nearly 10 years with a degree from University of California, San Diego.
